About Me
I’m an educator and sports media professional with years of experience in Track & Field coverage, education, history and storytelling through various mediums.
Growing up in New York City, I was exposed to Track & Field at a very young age, first participating as part of summer camp in middle school, and later going on to run in High School as well as in University. Though I was running for years, it wasn’t until 2008, when Usain Bolt came to New York City and broke his first 100m World Record, that I truly became a fan of the sport. Since then, I have not only been dedicated to learning and becoming more immersed in the sport, but also covering the sport and highlighting the amazing athletes and stories they have to tell.
Over the years, I have had the opportunity to attend various track meets at all levels, from professional to collegiate to High School. Throughout these experiences, I’ve spoken with athletes, coaches, support staff and others involved in the sport, learning and sharing their stories.
I have worked at some of the largest meets including the World Athletics World Championships, World Indoor Tour and Continental Tour, the Wanda Diamond League, as well as smaller meets including Regional NCAA meets and High School National Championships.
My roles have included athlete interviews, on the ground reporting for pre and post competition, writing for websites, strategic project planning, podcasting, video creation, social media management, historical research and fact checking.
I am always looking to support new projects, collaborate with creators and contribute wherever possible.
